How much does an engraved cutting board cost?
Laser engraving is a $75 setup per job plus $45–$65 per piece for medium items. The board itself, engraving both sides and gift boxes are quoted per project. Ask for several quantities and we price each one.
Is an engraved cutting board food safe?
The engraving is burned into the wood, with no ink or paint. We finish boards with food-safe oil. For boards used for daily chopping, put the design on the back or near an edge.
Can you engrave a handwritten recipe?
Yes. Send a clear photo of the recipe card, flat and in good light. We clean it up and engrave it in the original handwriting.
Can you engrave a board I already have?
Yes. Ship or drop off your board at our New York studio. Send a spare or two if you can, so we test the engraving before the run.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One board is fine. The $75 setup is charged once per job, so a larger run costs less per piece.
How long does it take?
Standard laser engraving lead time is 2–3 weeks after the items reach us, plus shipping. For the holidays, order in November. Rush jobs are possible case by case; tell us your in-hand date.
Do you ship?
Yes, anywhere in the United States, or pickup from our studios in Glendale, Queens or Brooklyn by appointment. Mailing each piece to a different address is quoted per project.
