Hello Elizabeth! Can you tell us about yourself and what is it that you do?

My name is Elizabeth Brown, was born in Russia and raised since I was little in Israel, presently I'm 27 years old. I've been at Instituto Marangoni , Milan, Shenkar college of design , Israel , Parsons Paris campus & graduated at NYC's Parsons campus, The New School.

As a women's and men's wear romantic luxury designer.

Story-telling is a big part of my life. So as a designer, I aim at telling my stories trough my designs. I build them step by step, provide a stage for imagination, tempting my audience to enter my mind.

As a women's and men's wear romantic luxury designer.

Story-telling is a big part of my life. So as a designer, I aim at telling my stories trough my designs. I build them step by step, provide a stage for imagination, tempting my audience to enter my mind.

I have a passion to create garments that are presentational, extravagant, fantastic with a theatrical flair. I Seek for freedom of expression I don't have any preconceived ideas of what you can and can't do. I'm looking for a style that is intriguing and challenging the conventional outfit. I'm interested and inspired by fashion/costume history, arts and Theatre.

How did the team at PrintAWorld help aid in your process?

The team was following my images, sketches and collages and made my vision come to alive. Working with them was a pleasure and good experience. They made the best, helped with technical suggestions of materiality etc and made it happen in a short time.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Usually my inspiration pops up after exploring an intellectual background of a subject that i was passioned about visually or a story i was exposed to. It could be anything around me, physical, spiritual or any other form.

Can you tell us a more about your design process?

Collage is my preferable method of visual expression. The sketching part and the ideas or fabric manipulations appear and develop as a part of the process that evolves differently in every project. I tend to combine different worlds, styles and sources of inspiration. The colors represent my momentary mood enabling expression of nuances and feelings.  My vision is rooted in a reality that turns into a story, transformed into an artistic expression, a show, creation of surprise and creativity, but still wearable and relevant.

What are your plans for your label?

I would love to expose my label to other stages besides fashion industry. for instance film and theater industry, even performance music and art videos. I'm aim to create a story and through that expose the world to my point of view about life, society and rules that meant to be broken in my opinion.
